Denny Geertsen honored
for his many years of support
for MHSIP and CMHS projects.
Mary Smith, MHSIP Policy Group chair, presents Denny with a plaque which reads: Friends and colleagues in the Mental Health Statistics Improvement Program community extend their appreciation and good wishes to Denny Geertsen, Ph.D. whose dedicated work, from participation on the FN-10 task force, to regional user group leadership, to data infrastructure grant workgroup guidance, has contributed significantly to the mission of MHSIP to encourage the development and utilization of data-based decision-making to serve the needs of persons with mental disorders, their families, the public, service providers, and policy makers. His willing efforts have promoted MHSIP data standards while providing an example of helpfulness to us all.
