PROJECT SUMMARY

The Indiana Family and Social Services Administration Division of Mental Health will facilitate the development and implementation of state performance indicator pilots that reflect the selected indicators in the l997/98 Five State Feasibility Assessment Study. The secondary goal of the DMH project is to support additional pilot testing of the current performance and outcome measures used in the Hoosier Assurance Plan Provider Profile Report Card for refinement and modification. The following activities will be accomplished in the three year project: (year 1) plan for collecting and analyzing data needed to produce pilot field test, (year 2) implement and refine the field test, and (year 3) expand field test sites, establish auditing and training protocols, and implement statewide performance indicators by modifying established data collection and reporting instruments.
